The prime objective of the project management is to drive the Thematic Network towards the successful completion of its work plan, in full accordance with the European Commission regulations and procedures. The project management is responsible for the complete administrative and financial coordination of the network. It also supervises and manages all contractual related issues and all liaisons with the European Commission. To this end, WP8 will implement an efficient management structure relying on a General Assembly and a Management Board.

In collaboration with the General Assembly and the Management Board, the Project Management will establish a neutrail internal management scheme that will structure work across the different WPs, and define internal review mechanisms to ensure the permanent monitoring of the project activities.

Finally, WP8 is also responsible for setting up a coherent information flow and for preparing and providing the necessary conditions to the self-sustainability of the network.
